My Mother,Constance H. Will and I will be doing a show at the Easton ,CT Public Library April 4th-May 6th, 2011. The show will encompass works of my mothers done in a variety of mediums (oil, acrylic, watercolor, pastels ,sculpture, pen and ink). I will be showing art quilts and wearables from the last 15+ years . There will be boxed cards, single & post cards of my mothers and my work. My art quilts and garments will also be for sale. Part of the money from the cards will go to support the library and the arts.
In the next 6 months I will be posting my mothers work in my gallery so everyone can see where my inspiration came from!
More information coming soon!

I am finally putting together the supports for the back of my somewhat circular art quilt called: Cosmic Sheep at the Beach. This quilt was made from the leftover material from:Sheep at the Beach. The quilt needed some light support to keep it’s shape while it is on the wall. I choose a natural basket material, that had a smooth surface, but had some body to it. I have treated it like piping or cording on a pillow. Once I am done covering the basket material, I will then hand tack it onto the quilt back. I will then post a picture of how it looks and works!
I donated some of my best early work to the Sunshine Internet Guild’s HEAT FUND AUCTION (2000 & 2001), which was a joint effort of the Armenian and American Embassies and was run by the Midland Bank of England to raise money to heat orphanages overseas.
When I am able I make quilts for the Sunshine Internet Guild, which in the past sent quilts to those in need overseas through the International Red Cross. They are now supporting Wrap-a-Smile which is part of a Rotary program called Rotaplast. Rotaplast sends medical teams to Venezuela, Chile, Bolivia, China, Viet Nam, and Romania to perform cleft lip/cleft palate surgery on children. Wrap-a-Smile is an arm of that project and provides quilts for each child to be wrapped in after surgery. The children keep the quilts and take them home.
