This Quilt like the kabuki costumes are very vivid. The colors are almost always intense, offering the audience an incredible visual spectacle the faces are stuffed with wool and then hand quilted-the technique is known as Trapunto. Originally there were 8 faces but I picked the best 4 for the hanging. The piece took me a year and a half to complete.The piece is hand sewn, machine pieced and hand quilted using big stitch.
