Drink to Life

The idea for this piece was from a roll of Yukata (summer kimono)fabric I had bought. I loved the color and the grapes. Originally I wanted to embellish it with vine like materials, but then I thought about stomping on the grapes. But that would require feet..the feet were made using the pre prepped printer fabric and using an iron to set the ink of the feet. I used fusible web to secure the feet and then embellished around them. The quilts that I make for the Breast Cancer Luncheon are always fun and full of life. Last years quilt was called \"My life is a jungle\" a heavily embellished attic window with a jungle theme.
