Pueblos and Petroglyphs

The fabric that creates the Pueblos in the picture had been in my stash for almost 5 years. The petroglyph fabric had been bought on a quilt shop hop. I was putting away the petroglyph fabric and the pueblo fabric caught my eye in the pile. Suddenly all I could think of was Pueblo bonito in Chaco Canyon, NM. I had to try to create what I saw there. The whole park had fascinated me and now the fabric spoke to me and thats where the piece began.
