Blue Iris

This piece started with a Japanese Yukata fabric and an interior designer. The interior designer was the client and via long distance we designed the hanging together. The hanging is shown on a white background and the white that shows in many places is not fabric but an opening in the hanging to show the background fabric (or the wall,as it would be in the designers house). This was fun to design, but made me use every sewing trick I ever learned to make it work.
