Farm life- what I do when I'm not creating!

My husband and I have lived on this 91 acre farm since 1998. Originally we thought we would try to revive the old apple orchard. But our new neighbors had 6 lambs on their new piece of property and we enjoyed their lamb in the fall. Then we went to New Zealand in April of 2001 for our 10th anniversary and the New Zealand Biennial Quilt Symposium. While in New Zealand We saw a farm show and decided to take the plunge into raising sheep and goats full time. We bought a guard donkey and then added chickens and the goose. It is now 10 years later and unfortunately we lost the goose to a member of the weasel family, but we still have all the other animals or their offspring. My husband does farmers markets in the summer while I go to Maine to teach gymnastics at a girls camp.
